Mettrick's Turkey thighs are an ideal alternative for a slow roasting joint, great in the slow cooker. Add a bit of BBQ sauce and they make an amazing pulled turkey dish. 

These turkey thighs are taken from stag birds that have a layer of fat under the skin that will prevent the meat from drying out during roasting.

They usually weigh around  700g-1kg each
