The classic roast beef of England, legend has it that King James I is said to have knighted a particularly tasty loin of beef during a meal at Hoghton Tower, near Preston, Lancashire, in 1617 giving this tasty cut of beef it's name. 

Serving Suggestion: A 1kg joint(approx 2lb) will feed 3-4, we suggest roughly 8oz (250g) per person.

Cooking: Pot Roast - roast in oven at Gas Mark 4 - 5/180ºC/350ºF for 30 - 40 minutes per lb (0.45kg) + 30 - 40 minutes.
