Hanger Steak


Also known as onglet, or Heart Steak, this cut is often used in dishes requiring thin strips of meat such as stir fries and curries. 

Try leaving to chill over night in a dark beer based marinade for a rich and soft hanger steak, ready to be grilled or fried the next day. 

Suggested Serving Size

8oz or roughly 225g per person.

Basic Cooking Guide

Marinate this steak well in advance for best results (24 hours), remove steaks from marinade and pat dry and bring to room temperature. 

Add butter to pan and heat over medium-high heat. Place steaks in hot pan and cook until browned, roughly 3-5 minutes per side. 

Allow to rest.
